Rafaela Burgos began a 30-year career as a UFT member at PS 154 in the Bronx, eventually retiring from PS 41 in Staten Island. Rafaela was an advocate for community service and had many hobbies, including reading, writing, doll collecting, crossword puzzles and quilting. Rafaela is survived by three daughters and a son.
